This study tests whether a new weekly injection called IBI362 works better than the existing drug semaglutide for weight loss and reducing liver fat in overweight or obese Chinese adults with metabolic dysfunction-associated fatty liver disease (MAFLD). About 479 participants will receive either IBI362 or semaglutide for 48 weeks, followed by a 12-week safety check.
