This study tested whether a PET scan using a tracer called 18F-FAZA can measure low oxygen levels (hypoxia) in pancreatic cancer. Hypoxia can affect how the cancer grows and responds to treatment. 48 adults with pancreatic cancer received the scan, and researchers also collected blood samples to look for related biomarkers.
