Hypnosis therapy shows promise for spinal cord injury pain

Summary
This study tests a non-drug treatment called Hypnotic Cognitive Therapy for people with new spinal cord injuries who have pain. 88 participants will either receive 4 therapy sessions or 4 pain education sessions during their hospital rehab stay. The goal is to see if this approach can lower pain intensity and prevent long-term chronic pain.
