Breathing trouble linked to poor physical performance in obesity
NCT ID NCT07122804
First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026
Summary
This study looked at 44 adults with obesity to see if symptoms of hyperventilation (rapid or heavy breathing) are linked to how well they can move and perform daily tasks. Participants completed breathing questionnaires, walking tests, and balance tests. The goal was to better understand how breathing issues affect physical fitness, so that future physiotherapy can be more personalized.
