NCT ID NCT07313670
Summary
This study is testing whether giving the steroid hydrocortisone early in treatment helps children with septic shock recover faster and survive. It will enroll 122 children aged 2 months to 12 years who are admitted to intensive care. The goal is to see if this approach leads to quicker recovery from organ failure, shorter time on life-support medications, and lower death rates.
