First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study at Mayo Clinic looks at how hot flashes in women may be connected to problems with blood vessels and nerves that control blood pressure. Researchers will measure nerve activity and blood vessel function in 120 women with different levels of hot flashes. The goal is to understand why women with hot flashes have a higher risk of heart disease.
