First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This small study tested whether a home-based brain stimulation technique called tDCS is safe and acceptable for people with Alzheimer's disease who have behavioral symptoms like agitation or apathy. Only 3 participants took part, and the main goal was to see if they and their caregivers found the treatment easy to use and free of serious side effects. The results help decide if larger studies are worth doing.
