First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study compares two types of nerve blocks—Quadro-Iliac Plane Block and Erector Spinae Plane Block—for pain relief after total hip replacement. About 76 adults undergoing hip surgery will receive one of the two blocks. Researchers will measure how long pain relief lasts and how much additional morphine is needed.
