First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looked at how different preventive treatments for moderate or severe hemophilia A affect the daily lives of boys aged 7 to 18 and their families. Researchers compared an intravenous factor replacement product with a subcutaneous non-factor product by having participants and caregivers complete questionnaires about quality of life and burden of care. The goal was to understand which treatment approach may offer better outcomes, but no new treatment was given—only observations were made.
