First seen Apr 29, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether two common heart failure drugs, dapagliflozin and spironolactone, can help the heart muscle recover more fully after aortic valve replacement. About 445 adults with severe aortic stenosis will take one or both medicines daily for 12 months. The goal is to reduce heart muscle thickness and scarring, improving long-term heart function.
