First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at 200 people with heart failure who are getting a left ventricular assist device (LVAD), a type of heart pump. Researchers will use a special 3D ultrasound during surgery to take detailed pictures of the right side of the heart. The goal is to better understand how the right heart works after the pump is placed, which may help doctors predict and manage complications.
