Researchers ask: when is it safe to stop watching heart patients?

NCT ID NCT07278583

Summary

This study looks back at patients who were in a remote heart failure monitoring program but were later taken off it because they no longer met the official criteria. Researchers want to see if these patients truly have a low risk of their heart condition getting worse after stopping remote monitoring. They will track 130 patients for one year after they left the program to check for hospital visits or other heart problems. The goal is to better understand which patients can safely stop daily remote checks without risking their health.
