First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tests a device that automatically tracks leg swelling (edema) in people with chronic heart failure. The goal is to see if early alerts from the device can help doctors adjust treatment and reduce hospital stays. About 1,500 adults with a history of leg swelling will use the device at home for at least a year. The study compares this new device to standard remote monitoring to see which provides better data and health outcomes.
