Chatbot Check-Ins could spot heart failure trouble before It's too late

NCT ID NCT07552142

First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests whether regular heart failure symptom questionnaires delivered by a chatbot can detect worsening health early. 120 people with heart failure will answer questions every two weeks for a year. The goal is to see if this approach is practical and if changes in scores predict serious events.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

What this could lead to

If successful, this could show that simple chatbot check-ins can catch heart failure worsening earlier, potentially reducing hospital visits.

What could go wrong

This is a small, early feasibility study, not a treatment trial. It may not prove that chatbot monitoring improves outcomes or is practical for all patients.
