Summary

This study tests a device implanted in the heart that measures pressure and creates a small shunt to help manage chronic heart failure. It is for people with reduced heart pumping function (ejection fraction 40% or less) who still have symptoms despite standard treatments. The goal is to see if the device is safe and can reduce deaths, need for heart transplants, and hospital stays.
