First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study tested whether simple tools like smiley faces (HappyOrNot) and a visual scale (VAS) can effectively measure urinary symptoms in 100 men with an enlarged prostate. Participants filled out these quick assessments, and the results were compared to standard symptom questionnaires and urine flow tests. The goal was to see if these simpler methods could reliably track symptom severity.
