Summary
This study tested if doing hand grip exercises for six weeks helps the arm blood vessel connection (fistula) used for dialysis grow stronger and work better. 34 adults with kidney failure on dialysis were randomly assigned to either do the exercises or receive standard care. The goal was to see if this simple, low-cost exercise could improve blood flow and reduce the need for extra procedures.
