Weight-Loss drugs under the microscope: do they really change what you eat?

NCT ID NCT07270497

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at how popular weight-loss medications (GLP-1 and GIP/GLP-1 analogs) affect what people eat, their metabolism, and behavior over a year. Researchers will track 100 adults with overweight or obesity to see changes in weight, body composition, and diet quality. The goal is to understand both the benefits and risks, like muscle loss or side effects, to help patients and doctors make better treatment decisions.
