First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 08, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a GLP-1 RA drug (a type of diabetes medication) can improve fat levels in the liver and blood of people with metabolic fatty liver disease (MASLD), type 2 diabetes, and obesity. Researchers will measure changes in fats, proteins, and genes in liver tissue and blood. The study involves 30 adults who already take a stable dose of a GLP-1 RA drug and will have a liver biopsy.
