Scientists probe hidden cell signals in diabetes

NCT ID NCT06976619

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at how controlling blood sugar and using a GLP-1 drug (liraglutide) changes the way the pancreas works in people with type 1 or type 2 diabetes. Researchers will measure hormone levels before and after treatment. The goal is to understand how these treatments affect the body's natural GLP-1 system, not to cure or control the disease directly.
