Summary

This study tested whether a video game app called 'Ghostly' could help hospitalized patients rebuild muscle strength. Researchers enrolled 15 people recovering from stroke, COVID-19, or dealing with frailty to see if using the app for leg exercises was practical and helpful. The goal was to see if this game-based approach could make strength training more engaging and effective during hospital recovery.
