Summary

This study aims to find genetic differences that make some people with fatty liver disease develop severe liver damage or cancer. Researchers will analyze DNA from 2880 adults, including those with advanced disease and healthy controls. The goal is to create better risk tests and identify new drug targets, but this is an observational study, not a treatment trial.
