NCT ID NCT06940479

First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tests a procedure called genicular artery embolization (GAE) for people with knee osteoarthritis. The goal is to see if blocking certain blood vessels in the knee can reduce pain and inflammation. About 46 adults with persistent knee pain will get MRIs, questionnaires, and fluid samples before and after the procedure. Researchers want to know if changes in inflammation markers match how much pain relief people feel.
