Summary
This trial tested a new device called GATT-Patch, a flexible, resorbable patch that helps stop bleeding during minimally invasive (keyhole) liver and gallbladder surgeries. 53 adults were randomly assigned to receive either GATT-Patch or a standard surgical patch. The main goal was to see if GATT-Patch could stop bleeding within 7 minutes without rebleeding. The study is complete, but results are not yet available.
