Summary

This study looks at whether fungi moving from the gut into the blood cause inflammation and worsen lung function in people with HIV. Researchers will measure fungal markers and lung health in 100 participants over three years. The goal is to understand why some people with HIV develop COPD and find new ways to treat it.
