New cancer drug targets genetic weakness in advanced tumors

Summary
This early-stage trial is testing a new drug called FOG-001 for people with advanced or spreading cancers that have specific genetic mutations. Researchers want to find the safest dose and see if the drug can shrink tumors or slow cancer growth. The study will include 575 participants with various solid tumors, including colorectal, prostate, liver, and other cancers that have stopped responding to standard treatments.
