New training method may boost soccer players' quick direction changes

Summary
This study looked at whether a special type of strength training (flywheel) helps soccer players change direction faster better than traditional weight training. Twenty-two elite male soccer players did one of the two training programs twice a week for 8 weeks. The goal was to see which training improved their agility and sprinting more.
