Summary

This study is creating a large database of medical information and biological samples from 1,000 infants born with hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE), a type of brain injury caused by lack of oxygen. Researchers will measure blood-based biomarkers to better understand the condition. The goal is to support future studies, not to test a new treatment.
