Could fish oil supercharge your workout to fight fat inflammation?
NCT ID NCT05297383
Summary
This small, withdrawn pilot study aimed to understand if taking fish oil supplements while doing high-intensity exercise could work together to reduce harmful inflammation linked to obesity. Researchers wanted to see if fish oil improved gut bacteria, which might make exercise more effective at lowering inflammation and improving cholesterol and blood sugar levels. The study planned to enroll overweight adults but was withdrawn before any participants were recruited.
