This observational study follows over 4,600 adults with chronic kidney disease and type 2 diabetes who are starting finerenone, a drug that helps slow kidney damage. Researchers will collect data from routine doctor visits over 12 months to understand why doctors prescribe it, how long patients stay on it, and any side effects like high potassium levels. The goal is to learn how finerenone is used in real-world settings, not to test the drug itself.
