Exercise program aims to protect hearts of black prostate cancer patients

Summary

This study tests whether a 16-week, culturally tailored exercise program (aerobic and resistance training) can lower heart disease risk in Black men with prostate cancer who are receiving hormone therapy (androgen deprivation therapy). About 62 participants will be randomly assigned to either the exercise program or usual care. The goal is to see if exercise improves heart health, fitness, body composition, and quality of life.
