First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a simple home-based exercise program could help reduce anxiety and depression in people receiving hemodialysis. 54 adults on dialysis were split into two groups: one did home exercises for 6 months, the other did not. Researchers measured changes in depression and anxiety scores using standard questionnaires. The goal was to see if exercise could improve mental well-being without medication.
