Summary
This study tests whether a type of talk therapy called Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) can improve daily functioning and quality of life in veterans with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). About half of the 160 participants also have post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The therapy involves 8-16 sessions where veterans learn to face their fears without performing compulsive rituals. The goal is to see if ERP works better than usual care for this group.
