Summary
This completed Phase 2 trial tested whether enobosarm, an experimental oral drug, can prevent muscle loss in older adults (aged 60+) who are taking GLP-1 receptor agonists like Wegovy for chronic weight management. The study enrolled 168 participants and measured changes in lean body mass and fat mass over 112 days. The goal is to help people lose fat while keeping or building muscle, improving strength and physical function.
