Real-World stroke care under the microscope: can clot removal save more lives?
NCT ID NCT05578300
First seen Mar 27, 2026 · Last updated May 27, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study tracks 350 adults who had a stroke caused by a large blood clot in the brain. Researchers want to see how well a procedure called endovascular thrombectomy (which removes the clot) works in real hospitals, not just in controlled trials. The goal is to find ways to improve treatment and close the gap between research and everyday practice.
