Summary
This study tested if a new device, used through a scope, could safely help regenerate the lining of the small intestine in people with type 2 diabetes. Twenty adults whose diabetes was not well controlled with 2-3 non-insulin medications took part. The main goal was to check safety and see if the procedure could improve blood sugar and weight.
