Summary
This study aims to understand if having deep endometriosis in the bowel increases a person's risk of developing colorectal cancer. Researchers will enroll 30 female patients who are already scheduled for surgery to treat their bowel endometriosis. They will compare the genetic activity in the diseased bowel tissue with healthy tissue to look for clues about cancer risk.
