First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests an injectable gel called ELAPR002f to see if it safely reduces atrophic acne scars (indented scars) on the cheeks. About 395 adults with moderate to severe scarring will receive either the gel or a saline placebo over 2 months, then be followed for a year. The goal is to measure scar improvement and any side effects.
