NCT ID NCT04170491
First seen May 12, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looks at whether using continuous EEG (a brain wave test) in the ICU helps people with severe, hard-to-stop seizures. It compares those who get this monitoring to those who receive standard care. The goal is to see if it reduces hospital stays, deaths, and complications, and improves quality of life. About 40 adults will take part.
