This study tested whether a structured education program, called the Critical Limb Ischemia School, helps patients with severe leg artery disease. 184 adults with critical limb ischemia took part. The program taught them about their condition, lifestyle changes like quitting smoking and exercise, and when to seek help. Researchers compared their health outcomes and quality of life over 12 months to those receiving standard care.
