First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a heart ultrasound (echocardiography) can help doctors better manage liver cirrhosis patients who also develop sudden kidney injury. Researchers examined 28 patients to see how their hearts were working before giving them extra fluids. The goal was to find out which patients might not tolerate fluid treatment, helping avoid complications like fluid buildup in the lungs.
