First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This early-stage study tests an experimental mRNA vaccine called mRNA-1195 in 482 healthy adults aged 18 to 55. The goal is to see if the vaccine is safe and triggers an immune response against the Epstein-Barr virus, which causes mononucleosis and is linked to certain cancers. Participants receive either the vaccine or a placebo, and researchers monitor for side effects and antibody levels.
