Summary
This study follows 600 adults who vape nicotine regularly to see how it affects their heart and lungs over time. Researchers use ultrasound and CT scans to measure artery thickness and lung air trapping. Participants must be at least 21, have vaped for a year or more, and plan to stay in the area for three years. The goal is to provide clear evidence on the long-term health risks of e-cigarette use.
