First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tests if the drug Dimephosphon can improve recovery in people who have had an acute ischemic stroke (a stroke caused by a blood clot). The trial involves 184 adults aged 35-80 who will receive either Dimephosphon or a placebo within 24-72 hours of their stroke. The main goal is to see if more patients achieve functional independence (measured by the Modified Rankin Scale) by day 15.
