Summary
This study tests whether a low dose of digoxin, a drug normally used for heart problems, can help people with a severe type of fatty liver disease called NASH (also known as MASH). The trial will involve 144 adults with biopsy-confirmed NASH and liver scarring. Participants will take either digoxin or a placebo daily for a period, and researchers will check if the drug can reverse liver inflammation and scarring without worsening the disease.
