Summary

This study tests whether teaching kidney transplant recipients to eat a whole-food plant-based diet helps them control blood pressure, blood sugar, and weight better than standard care. About 49 adults who had a kidney transplant in the past 2–12 months and have high blood pressure, high blood sugar, or overweight are taking part. The goal is to see if this diet can reduce emergency visits, hospital stays, and infections.
