First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study looks at 100 women with breast or gynecological cancer to see if their diet before starting chemotherapy affects levels of a protein called hepcidin. Researchers want to know if hepcidin levels are linked to how much of the planned chemotherapy dose patients actually receive. The goal is to understand why some patients need dose reductions or delays, which can impact treatment success.
