Summary
This study looked at whether diaphragmatic breathing (a type of deep belly breathing) can reduce low back pain and improve daily function, balance, and quality of life in pregnant women. Fifty-eight women between 19-29 weeks of pregnancy who had new back pain took part. The results may offer a drug-free way to manage discomfort during pregnancy.
