NCT ID NCT00639964
First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated Jun 19, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This completed study looked at how fat metabolism changes during pregnancy in women with type 1 or type 2 diabetes. Researchers measured blood fats and diet in 186 pregnant women and collected placenta and cord blood at delivery. The goal was to find links between these factors and the baby's birth weight, to better understand and possibly prevent macrosomia (high birth weight).
