Summary
This study tested three doses of dextromethorphan (a common cough medicine) against a placebo to see if it could reduce nerve pain in people with spinal cord injuries. 26 adults with chronic central neuropathic pain took part. The goal was to measure pain relief and satisfaction with treatment.
